The Named Selection panel provides you with a way to search for and select objects within your Fireworks document by name. By using a specific naming convention in your designs, using this panel can make it easier to apply styles to similarly named objects. For example, if you want all title texts to use the Arial font, make sure you use the string "title" in your title text objects and use this panel to select them all by searching for the text "title."

Note: This panel will not find "automatic" names - those names not explicitly defined by you, the user.

Note: This panel will select objects even if in other frames. You can use onion skinning in the frames panel to help you manage these objects.
